Dear Sisters and Brothers,
I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. The January Business Meeting will be on
01/04/2022 at our Local Lodge at 4PM. Please arrive early so that we can begin the meeting on time.
AGENDA ITEMS
• Approval to reimburse Debbie Fogel $57.61 for an over payment of union dues.
• Approval to train up to 35 new shop stewards and 10 committee members from our
local lodge that belong to DL 141. Cost to include lost time and spend up to $300 for
food for shop stewards and $150 for committee members. Date of training TBD.
• Approval to train up to 35 new shop stewards from our local lodge that belong to DL
142. Cost to include lost time and spend up to $300 for food. Date of training TBD.
• Approval to spend up to $200 for business cards.
• Approval to send Cristina Robles to EAP 1 from 02/26/2022 to 03/04/2022. Cost to
include lost time and a per diem of $20 at the start of travel and $20 at the end of
travel.
• Approval to send R.S Joe Martinez to DL 141/DL 142 workshop from 02/15-16/2022.
Cost to include hotel cost of $139 plus taxes per night, per diem and transportation cost
from airport to airport.
• Approval to send S.T Ashanta Marzett to DL 141/ DL 142 workshop from 02/16-17/2022.
Cost to include $139 plus taxes per night, lost time, per diem and transportation costs
from airport to airport.
• Approval to send up to seven delegates from the Legislative Committee to the California
Conference of Machinists Spring Meeting from 03/14- 16/2022. Cost to include $259
plus tax/ per night, lost time, per diem, registration fee of $60 and transportation from
airport to airport.
• Approval to have President Deryl Gaylord and S.T Ashanta Marzett meet with the Grand
Lodge auditor for a yearly tax review on 03/17/2022. Cost to include one day of lost
time and spend up to $50 for food.
